Getting to The Lion Hotel, Llanbister
By Train - Our nearest Railway station is Llanbister Road, The Heart of Wales line runs through our area of Mid Wales. Llanbister Road is actually a hamlet seperate to Llanbister village and is 5.5 miles away. We are more than happy to collect guests from the station.
By Bus - Traveline Cymru operates a bus service from Cardiff to Newtown Powys which passes through our other nearest town on Llandrindod Wells. The service is the T4 and it passes right next to The Lion Hotel every couple of hours Monday to Saturday.
By Foot - If quests are on a walking holiday perhaps walking Glyndwrs Way, Offa's Dyke or the Kerry Ridgeway we can deliver luggage onto their next accommodation.
By Bike - We are close to the Radnor Ring Cycle Route, Elan Valley Trail and The Taff Trail so cycling to The Lion Hotel is another option.
By Road - The Lion Hotel in Mid Wales is located just off the A483 at the junction for Llanbister Village. The Lion Hotel is situated in the centre of Mid Wales approximately half way between Newtown, Powys and Llandrindod Wells and is ideally suited for exploring the beautiful, unspoilt countryside of Mid Wales. The Lion Hotel is the only Licensed Bed & Breakfast and Restaurant in Llanbister.
